Made for fun...trip to Pittsburgh and New York
Finally we were in Tennessee but the tour fever still didnt leave us and we had time to go some place to chill out. We found the Tennesse River nearby and went there. That was a great place to have fun. All by yourself..completely isolated...played throwing stones in the river...spent a good two hours there till it was dark..started again. That was the end of the tour.
Saathiya Style..h aha ah
Dhiraj, myself, Chaitanya and Anu.
Chit chatting in the woods...:-)
Me and Dhiraj !!
Pictures taken at a rest area...on our way back to Memphis.
Finally its time to leave New York...so we went towards the Hudson Riverside and had a glimpse of New York's night skyline. A nice place it was..
Me having an Apple Martini. :-) with Chaitanya
This was the restaurant I was telling you...we all liked it so much that we had our lunch the next day in the same restaurant. From left..myself, Arif, Dhiraj, Raghu and Prashanth.
Guys..all of us in the streets of New York. And I'm not dancing..believe me. I never dance. That was just a pose..heeee
Then we jump to New York on the same day. We reached there at 10pm , had dinner at an Indian Restaurant called Rasoi. The food was great. Then we headed towards New york downtown. Thats the New York downtown in the picture. I liked this picture a lot..looks so natural..isnt it. I hope it makes you too smile. :-)
Finally reached Pittsburgh early in the morning with a spectacular view all around the PA hills...unfortunately I couldnt catch that in my lens...oops I forgot to do that. We went to the temple at 10am. This picture was taken by a good samaritan at the temple when we were all trying to get into the picture. From left on top..Chaitanya, Dhiraj, myself, Anu at bottom left and Prashanth on her right.
We are all set..were cruising along in our hired Ford Minivan on the Interstate when we found that there is something wrong with the air pressure in tyres. So we took a halt at the nearest gas station..did what was necessary while I was posing for pictures like this.

Detroit 2 DC tour
Me with Santosh and Haritha at their place in Laurel, Maryland. I spent a day there. This was first time I'm meeting them after coming to America. It was nice to spend time with them and the Pooris I had there..that was great. I had Poori after five long months. :-)
Now this is what I call real fun...yeah thats snow guys !!!
Myself with Hemanth and Dheeraj and some friends at the Detroit International Airport. This was on 26th evening when Dheeraj was to leave for India.
The three cousin at Ananas, a middle eastern restaurant in Detroit. The food was good, first time tasting Middle eastern food.
This is before the White house with Amar bava, Rohini Akkaya and Hemanth. It was a calm evening with Amar bava. I liked it. We all went around Washington DC seeing the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, The Senate, White house etc.
This is me with Hemanth and Rohini akkaya with the George Washington Memorial in the Background. This is where the Lincoln Memorial stands.
Hey, it's me believe. Having a great time with kids Neerav and Rushiel. And yes, they were in a mood to play with me... he he.
First day in Washington DC when we went to the Aero Space Museum along with Rajesh. In the backdrop, the Concorde which lands before you can hear it...ya the French supersonic flight which travels more than twice the speed of sound at 1350mph.
The Big Break
This was really a big break after the Fall semester for me. Right from December 20th to January 16th..it was a long long vacation. I have been completely off from my regular activity..no phones..no internet..just fun. This was a vacation in the true sense. This is how my tour went by. First been to Detroit with Hemanth to meet Dheeraj, then to Washington to meet my cousins, went to Atlantic City one night, finally came back to Memphis on January 5th. Again started for Pittsburgh on January 13th along with friends. We were eight in all. This was one trip which I would always remember, one of the best moments I ever had. We went in a Ford Minivan..40 hrs of driving and me not driving...:-) just having fun in backseat. The pictures tell you all..seeeeee
